Eagle Springs Elementary School’s new aviation-themed playground takes kids’ imaginations to soaring new heights! Just down the road from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, this exciting playspace features an Air Traffic Control tower, a helicopter, a fighter jet, and a plane ready for takeoff! Designed for children ages 5 to 12, the main structure includes a variety of climbers and belting paths to views among the clouds or to the plane’s cockpit. When it’s time to land, kids can choose from several thrilling slides to return back to the tarmac.

The adventure continues with a ZipKrooz®, offering a smooth two-way zipline ride, while a Crab Trap®, multiple swings, and spinners carry the fun throughout the play space. A symbol communication sign includes pictures and symbols ensuring that non-verbal, speech-challenged and early-learning individuals have a way to communicate with friends and caregivers. Seamless poured-in-place safety surfacing ensures accessibility for all, complete with cloud designs, runways, planes, terminal signs, and more.
