Baldwin Park

Overview

The City of Houston’s Baldwin Park is a great example of how you can increase play opportunities for your community without starting from scratch!

This park started out with a playful color scheme and challenging fun of an existing Evos® playsystem, designed for ages 5-12. The park upgrade included a PlayBooster® structure for ages 2-5, as well as a variety of freestanding play elements and swings. The addition of poured-in-place surfacing provides seamless access to newly added inclusive elements including a Sensory Play Center® and We-Saw™. Recycled Wood-Grain Lumber, mushroom steppers, log balance beam, and rock climber introduce nature-inspired elements tying this colorful playscape in with the oak-surrounded park.
