LONE STAR RECREATION

Lone Star Recreation has been in business and representing Landscape Structures Inc. for more than 21 years, working successfully with the City of Houston and surrounding municipalities, county precincts, school districts and PTO’s, area churches and parochial schools, community development companies, home owner associations, architects and community leaders and volunteers, to build better and safer playgrounds across southeast Texas.

LANDSCAPE STRUCTURES

Landscape Structures is privately owned and has been in business for more than 45 years, beginning with a college thesis that invented the concept of continuous play (by founder and chairman Steve King, and progressing from a shop in the King’s garage to a successful business that is a global leader in the commercial playground industry with playground consultants across the world. The Kings took great pride in their playground products, from their first handmade redwood structures, to the industry leading PlayBooster® line today.

Cofounder and Chairman Steve King is the only leader of a playground company who is also a landscape architect. His passion for creating playground products and designs that go beyond ADA requirements, create truly inclusive play environments for all children. Landscape Structures continues to push the design envelope by creating some of the most creative themed play events in the world along with playground equipment that blends into the natural environment. There is no better, safer, stronger playground equipment available.

A  PERSONALIZED PROCESS

Landscape Structure’s performs all design, engineering and manufacturing in-house, so each step is carefully followed-through under a watchful eye as they inspire, innovate and evolve ideas together.   Each assignment is a singular project.  There is no one-size-fits-all approach.  Every playground’s made to order.
